Zeeland Seaports has its head office in Terneuzen

 

Terneuzen can be reached in a number of ways: from the Netherlands via the Westerschelde Tunnel, or there are good connections through Belgium via the Liefkenshoek Tunnel or the Kennedy Tunnel.

 

Route through the Westerschelde Tunnel

Take the A58 motorway to Vlissingen until the junction with the N62 trunk road. Follow the signs to the Westerschelde Tunnel. The toll for a car through the Westerschelde Tunnel is € 4.20. After driving through the tunnel, keep following signs to Terneuzen. Follow the road via the lock complex (over the Ghent-Terneuzen Canal). Follow the road named  'Buitenhaven'. This road then becomes Kennedylaan. Turn left just before the filling station.

 

Route through the Liefkenshoek Tunnel
From southwest Netherlands, take the A58 motorway until the exit to Antwerp (the A4 motorway). Once across the border into Belgium this then becomes the A12. Along this road you will see from time to time brown signs indicating 'Zeeuws-Vlaanderen'. Follow this road and you will pass through the Liefkenshoek Tunnel. The toll for this tunnel is € 5.00 for a car. Shortly after you have driven through the tunnel, take the exit towards 'Brugge - Zelzate' (there is also a sign indicating Zeeuws-Vlaanderen). Follow this road (N49) and take the exit 'Zelzate/Terneuzen'. Keep on the road named 'Tractaatweg' (N62) towards Terneuzen, and at the traffic lights as you enter the built-up area of Terneuzen turn left (N61). Follow this road and take the next turning to the right  (exit industrial zone Terneuzen) into mr. F.J. Haarmanweg. Follow this winding road, which after a while becomes Kennedylaan. Turn right after the filling station.

 

Route through the Kennedy Tunnel
If you take the E19 motorway (Breda-Antwerp) and the Antwerp Ring Road (R2) rather than the Liefkenshoek Tunnel, your route will be via the Kennedy Tunnel. Immediately after the tunnel, take the exit to 'Brugge'. You are now on the N49. For further directions, see the directions above (via the Liefkenshoek Tunnel).
