Zeeland Seaports is passionate about its role as the European hub for cargo handling and logistics. The ports of Vlissingen and Terneuzen are extremely well qualified for this role thanks to their unique geographical location, open sea connections and excellent infrastructure linking them with the European hinterland. 

Even the very largest seagoing vessels can reach Zeeland Seaports with only minimum deviation from the main shipping lanes and without any tidal limitations. What's more, the ports handle ships for short-sea services and inland shipping, which together provide an extensive network of cargo services throughout Europe.

Zeeland Seaports has a number of special terminals for handling particular types of goods. The menu to the left gives an overview of these terminals.
