Working in the port

About 250 companies are currently established in the ports of Zeeland. This has created a dynamic international environment in which some 15,300 people work every day. That is roughly 18% of the total employment in the province of Zeeland. And this number continues to grow, thanks to the expansion of the port in the Canal Zone and the new Scaldiahaven that was completed in 2010.
